A family owned company located in London, UK established in 2000 - cross-industry specialists within events, charity & recruitment. As a family, the Gilley's try their hand at many things to raise funds for charity and good causes - whether it's been bungee jumping, abseiling, running or campaigning - keeping a central charitable focus in the business is important.

During the height of Lockdown in 2020, business ceased to exist, instead Paul and James created an appeal asking the nation to join them in making and delivering angel statues to the families of NHS workers who have died during the pandemic. They hope this gift can provide some comfort to these families and honour the memory of their loved ones as - Angels of the Nation.

Paul Gilley FIH

Managing Director

From the age of 15, Paul started working in the family hotel to hotels across the world including 5 red star establishments. Using this experience, Paul set up PJ Search in June 2000.

In the wake of the 2008 UK recession, Paul started a football tournament for the staff members of his favourite clients - growing considerably over 11 consecutive years into the

London Hospitality Festival.

Over many years, Paul has worked with charities across the sector including Springboard, Hospitality Action, House of St Barnabas, StreetSmart and the Janus Foundation. He is a board member for the Institute of Hospitality.

James Gilley

At the age of 22, James co-founded The Running charity in reaction to the death of a close friend. Its aim is to help young men and women escape homelessness using the power of sport and fitness.

In 2013, James ran a campaign with friend Lucy Gaygusuz to urge London Marathon runners to hold their #HandsOverHearts as they crossed the finish line as a personal tribute to victims of the Boston marathon bombings - reaching millions on social media and TV.

In 2018, James joined the business taking the lead on the festival and charitable efforts. He sits on the fundraising committee of Springboard.

Angels of the Nation appeal

The NHS has lost at least 181 courageous souls in their frontline efforts to overcome the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic. No words can ever bring them back but as a country we can come together to formally honour and forever remember them as - Angels of the Nation.

This appeal on JustGiving is asking for the nation's support to make and deliver these beautiful angels to the families

who have lost their loved ones.

In the same way you would book your staff Christmas party venue in the winter, the London Hospitality Festival is the go-to staff party venue of the summer. Every year, the biggest names in hospitality get together to share an unforgettable day with their colleagues, friends and family.

This event provides a unique opportunity for the industry to reward and celebrate its staff, combining a music festival with team sports, charity fundraising and family entertainment - there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The 2021 event aims to bring 5000+ Hospitality workers together from 100+ establishments across London; a perfect setting to bring you Fred Sirieix's National Waiters' Day race.
